Yoga with Hanim
Hanim Ariffin
Been practicing yoga for more than 8 years. Started off as a ‘filler’ for classes at the gym, has now taken over as the main ‘work out’ if yoga can be reduced to that despite the wholesome effect on mind, body and consciousness.
Has since undergone several teachers’ training courses conducted in Malaysia and in India. Has completed Teacher Training Course in Mysore, India, for integrated Hatha and Astanga Yoga. Also spent time in Rishikesh, India, for Iyengar based Hatha Yoga under its experienced teacher. Rishikesh is also known as the ‘mecca’ for yoga practices and studies. Making annual visit to India since then for yoga experience and study.
People often asked on the benefits of yoga. Well, where do one begins. There are countless benefits of yoga but still does not guarantee any takers.
So, open our heart and mind to include yoga into our ‘work out’ and hopefully, into our life.

The opportunity to perform at the prestigious KLCC concert hall with a thousand spectators watching, is one defining moment in his colourful career.
